Hannah and the Hasbian

Has•bi•an (haz-bee-uh n) – a woman who HAS been a lesbian

Sardonic, quirky, and utterly lovable, Hannah and the Hasbian takes a light-hearted look at love, identity, sex, and relationships (not necessarily in that order) with trademark Australian wit and wisdom. Join Briegh, Hannah, and their hysterical, hyper-sexual engaged, not engaged, pregnant, not pregnant, roommate Dinka on a whirlwind trip down lesbian lovers’ lane.

Program 44 begins at 7pm in Little Theater 1.

  1. @Michael: You're missing a title again dear. :)

I liked this one, though I thought it ended a little abruptly. But then the twists and turns in the movie were just about as abrupt and outrageous.

This was clearly an unexpected comedy for me. From the crazy roommate to the ending sparkly-faced scene, there was a lot to laugh at, and along with.

Separating the "time line" with the cartoon indicators was a nice device, but changing something a bit more drastic would have probably been better. Having different dress styles or hair styles... something.

Overall, an enjoyable light comedy that I think most people can connect with.

I'm too old to appreciate the lifestyle.

Too bad they didn't rent a tripod for the production. I don't understand the purpose and meaning of the drawings.

Beyond bad - walked out early. Horrible and disappointing. Nothing redeeming or entertaining about this film.

EXCELLENT. The limited settings made it feel claustrophobic -- more of a play.

Good but constant flashbacks made it choppy!

Felt like it didn't wrap up the end. Ended prematurely.

Good. I don't think there's too many differences between relationships. It's all about communication.

    A good contemporary love story.

Good. It was funny and great but it just ended with little resolution. If there was more of a resolution, it would have gotten an excellent.
