Great screening, great Q&A, and an amazing evening with our special Guests Cathy Debuono and Jill Bennett. The stars of "We Have To Stop Now" visited and talked with guests over at equal grounds for hours after the screening. It was great to get to know them and members of our own local community better. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a HUGE thank you to Jill and Cathy!
ReplyDeleteI have to say, while I loved some of the earlier comedies, this one had me red-faced laughing for longer than any of the other films. The actresses in this series are just amazing, and really draw you into their world.
ReplyDeleteFor those that missed it, PLEASE go see it on-line. They have a web site where you can purchase a subscription to not just first session (which was shown as a movie here), but a second season as well. Well worth the price, both by value, and to support these wonderful and talented women!
Jill and Cathy are amazing activists trying to keep real life lesbians visible. Cable networks are tabling shows with lesbian content. So they are bypassing the networks with their web based show. Please support their...OUR cause by subscribing to Season 2 of We Have To Stop Now.
