Now Adam, this has got to be the most thinly veiled misogynist and homophobic premise for a movie I have heard in a while. But I guess you were joking ;-)
LVK (as it is now known in the circuit) was a late addition to the European Film Market in Berlin. There were two screenings held (Feb 7 and 9) and both times, the UK sales agent vehemently denied entrance to film festival programmers. I even had an exchange with the person at the door as I thought all published market screenings are open to market badge holders. If they wanted private screenings, they shouldn´t have been printed in the schedule. It did get a US distribution supposedly. But also heard from buyers who did see the film that it is really bad and is geared more for straight male audiences. Or maybe I just want to bad mouth the film since the (DOM-looking) UK sales agent really ticked me off?
