Program 19: Joshua Tree, 1951: A Portrait of James Dean
Featuring fantastic performances and gorgeous black-and-white cinematography, this utterly unique drama provides a alternate, fictionalized take on the life of James Dean before he found fame as a Hollywood icon. One of the film's stars, Dan Glenn and producer Randall Walk will be in attendance.

What can you say, except "Wow". Wow, the director is in love with his technique. Wow, the acting is bad. Wow, this is so much form over any discernible narrative. Film technique is normally used to drive a storyline, not substitute for it.
