At the request of Michael Hardy I am wearing my best X-mas Argyle sweater to the screening of MTYG. Whose bringing the oversized candy canes?
Wow.. This was a touching film, with a lot of positive moments in it. Teh actors did a great job of making you feel for both of the guys as they struggle with the issue of being out to their families, and how it's changed their relationship with their parents. The setting made it all the more comical, and the one-line jokes, innuendo, and crazy family antics made it all the better. This is a great coming-out film, out on DVD just in time for the holidays. :)

I am going to get the DVD because my sister has to see this film.
I can also say, finally a comedy! ImageOut has been showing a lot of great films this year but sooooo many tear jerkers...
I love the double entendres like "a man loves meat in his mouth" etc.
I loved being able to say "hi" to the director at the end and aks him a few questions. Now, if only we could have brought Adamo Ruggiero here as well... ;)and the other guy ("Olaf") too...

Hi Rob,
I wanted you to know that I came home from seeing your wonderful film,and went immediately to Amazon and ordered it. I have a group of friends in Toronto, and they'll love seeing it when we have one of our occasional "movie nights" closer to the Holidays.
Wow. For the first time in my time as a volunteer for ImageOut, we've turned people away from a screening as the theater was packed to capacity. I think the youth appeal and the jolly holiday message really attracted ticket buyers.

While the film got mostly excellent and good votes, it did earn a few poor ratings as some people thought it was too corny and cliched.

Some cute lines but the script and the acting were cliched and many of the jokes fell flat. The father's routine got old easily. But the music was enjoyable.
