Four More Years-in just four more hours!

Continuing the opening-night festivities at 9:30 tonight is Four More Years, a political dramedy from Sweden. With our own election season right around the corner, it will be a welcome relief to see another country sweat for a bit.

There are still a few tickets left for our second program, but they will be going fast, so head on over to the Little Theater box office to get yours now!

A sweet second film with lots of laughs. Thanks for bringing this to Rochester!

This was a very charming comedy with two lead characters who, despite being polished politicians, showed they are not always as smooth away from the limelight. Great acting and script takes you along on an often funny journey.

I thought this film was cute---not breathtaking or amazing (and actually not entirely memorable----I had forgotten what movie I saw opening night until I read back throught these blogs LOL), but definitely a light and entertaining film to kick off festival 2011!!

Not quite as dramatic or powerful as The Night Watch, but still a good film. Lots of great comedy.

A nice light comedy. The most interesting part I took away was how it showed the enshrinement of prejudice (and class issues) in politics. In Europe in general, that tends to fall on ideological or political lines, but not as strongly along age or race lines. That reality was very clearly reflected in this film, and I think presented an interesting contrast.
