Day 2 will be off to a great start with The Tents, a fashion forward look at the history and growth of the Bryant Park Fashion Week shows of yester-year.
Before the feature, our audience will be treated to a fascinating and entertaining look at the First Ladies of Blues in T'Aint Nobody's Bizness: Queer Blues Divas of the 1920s. Director Robert Philipson is our special guest for the screening and will take the stage for a lively Q&A after both films so stick around!

I absolutely loved T'aint Nobody's Bizness. Yeah, I thought there was something about these women, lol.
I met the director later, he's great. I hope this video gets to be used a lot in classes.
The Tents? Meh, it's ok, very informative, but a bit repetitive. I feel a little more editing should have been in order. But still good.
I have to agree with Stefan on this one. It's a shame that T'Aint Nobody's Bizness wasn't featured in one of the other shorts programs. It really was a great documentary short, and was on-par with Swimming With Lesbians from last year. One of the hidden gems of this years shorts programs.
On "The Tents"-- god, my job is so boring!! : (
