What a great film! Wonderfully acted. The cinematography was amazing!

It was a well made film. The story was told, in the beginning, as if the audience had walked in three-quarters of the way into the film and unwound backwards from there.
Very good performances and excellent direction.

I wish this film would get a wide release. It is definitely Oscar worthy! A wonderful opener...

Dull, dull, dull. Like gay masterpiece theater. My neck still hurts from falling asleep.

NOTHING is interesting this year.

I loved this movie, one of the best so far (about half way in). That said, I'm a fan of stories told from multiple perspectives, and with shifts in the time-line, which this movie is full of.

One of the things I really liked was how it made you realize how much your own mind fills in the back story when it's implied, and how wrong that can be when presented with the actual story later. :) Great choice for opening night!

I'm also a fan of reverse or non-linear story telling. Reminds of some of my favorite movies like Pulp Fiction, Momento or Slaughter House 5. This one took some intriguing characters then it broke it down and showed what brought them to this point. Well done.

From the ballots:
Getting tired of WWII movies ... too recurring of a theme with ImageOut. Story line dull. Poor Opening Night choice.
