I did that and ordered Make the Yuletide Gay and I already got it! maybe they sent it too early, I don't know! But I'm not complaining! ;)

Oh wow! They're very good at making that "mistake." I think they underestimate the efficiency of the shipping courier.

Thanks Stefan for helping out.

I had the same happen with Where The World Mine last year. I wasn't displeased by that, though I'm sure the rights holder may have been. I doubt my copy here in NY had any impact on people seeing it during it's last showing in Florida anyway. (In fact, I know they sold at least 2 more tickets, since my ex and his current bf live there and went to see it on my recommendation.)

You're lucky Stefan.... I ordered my copy of Make The Yuletide Gay the day after we saw it, but haven't received it yet. I figure any day now.

Today is the official release day for "Make The Yuletide Gay," so if you've ordered it, it should be arriving soon. If you haven't ordered it, what are you waiting for? :-) It's also available for purchase/rental on iTunes and for Instant Viewing on Netflix (though you don't get the DVD's numerous extra features that way). Thanks for supporting the movie, hope you all enjoy it!

Wolfe actually starts shipping anything on their own label 2 weeks before street date to its mail order and web customers. They also do it on a few other titles where they have the studio permission. Were the World Mine is a Wolfe title, so you would have received it probably at least a week before you could buy it in a store. We have always done that with our own titles!
