I loved this film. It was less like a film, and more like a collection of shorts with a common theme. The music was great, as were all of the people interviewed.

The sad part was there was almost no turnout, and only two trans people were there, despite this being a film about trans people in music. I find it upsetting that the trans community made a huge stink about TOTWK, while completely not showing up for other movies targeting their community.

I remember watching this film in my living room on a Saturday afternoon while I was trying to finalize the lineup. I just fell in love with it as well. I had to quickly call a couple of other people who saw it and tried to get their opinions since I had to yank out another doc that I already had in the lineup to squeeze this one in. While it is sad that not many people showed up for it, I'm glad people who did see it LOVED it.

I too am sad that this did not have a bigger audience. After seeing this as part of the screening process, I went out and bought a few of the performers' albums!

Those who missed this one really missed out!

OK: so I was working this film, and when everyone came in, and I counted the tickets there were only 20, and I was like, what the hell?

Well, I enjoyed this. And when I read about how Michael had to yank out another to squeeze this one in my heart broke. All I can say is people who missed this missed a damn good film!

I need to look up some of these musicians and try to find out where I can buy some of their music.

And I never knew trans boys could be so hot :)

Revelatory, but choppy. Hard to figure out what the point was: music? personal stories? trans issues???

Educational to hear of transpeople's lives, experiences, tribulations, and how each learned to deal and cope with trans issues.

Honest, funny, fascinating, good cuts and transitions though the similarity of scenes became slightly monotonous. Excellent.

A bit rambling but very good. Enjoyable to see a trans film or doc that wasn't tragic.

Good but wish the bands hadn't been mixed up so much.
